Rachel Brown's teaching interests include feminist political thought; settler colonialism; migration and reprocutive labor; the politics of humanitarianism; and transnational solidarities.
Since earning her doctorate from The Graduate Center, City University of New York in 2016, Brown has held positions at Northeastern University and Mount Holyoke College. Her doctoral work in political theory focused in part on issues related to domestic work, care and settler colonialism. She joined the faulty in in fall 2017.
