January Hall to Reopen August 2018

January Hall to Reopen August 2018

Renovated January Hall scheduled to open Thursday, August 23 with new University College offices and student advising.

After eight months of renovations, January Hall is scheduled to open its doors to students once again. Just in time for the start of the fall semester, the January Hall renovation includes new, shared state-of-the-art classroom space, an updated administrative suite, and an office for University College student advising.

Mark Rollins, Dean of University College, believes the newly renovated January Hall is an important step towards maintaining and improving adult education at Washington University in St. Louis.

“January Hall is an historic building in a prime location on the quadrangle. The significant improvement in the design of its interior space and the addition of new facilities will make it an attractive place for University College students to meet with advisors and deans on the Danforth campus, where all of our classes are held.”

“This renovation, along with the acquisition of other new office space, reflects a commitment to the mission of continuing education and coincides with the expanding outreach of University College and the development of exciting new academic programs.”

Danforth Campus student advising will be available beginning Aug. 27 from 2-6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Current and prospective students can schedule advising appointments online, 24 hours a day using our online scheduling platform. To make an appointment, visit our Student Advising page.
