Open for Summer 2022

Writer

Our writing interns find and produce stories for our publications and assist with brainstorming and planning communication strategies. We always have interesting projects going on across campus, and our writing interns cover a wide variety of  activities, from research to campus and community events. Writing interns also take on research projects and occasional website updates as assigned. To apply for the position, please email Claire Gauen (cgauen@wustl.edu) with a cover letter, resume, and writing sample by May 13, 2022. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. 

Illustrator/Designer

Interested in visual storytelling? Arts & Sciences Communications seeks a student with experience in illustration and design to assist with web and print projects. To apply, please email Sudon Choe (choes@wustl.edu) with a cover letter, resume, and work sample by May 13, 2022. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. 

Photo and Video Assistant

Our photography and videography interns assist in the creation and organization of high quality photos and videos for events, publications, and social media. The photo and video assistant will be responsible for identifying opportunities for high-impact photography, taking and processing photos and video, managing files and metadata, and other projects as assigned. To apply, please email Sudon Choe (choes@wustl.edu) with a cover letter, resume, and work sample by May 13, 2022. Social Media Specialist

The Ampersand social media internship involves preparing and posting content (both copy and images) to the Arts & Sciences social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Daily tasks include creative storytelling, researching campus events and news, and curating online conversations. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, and a demonstrated interest in campus communications and/or social networks. Training will be provided.
