Nicole Gore

Senior Assistant Dean, Student Academic Affairs, College of Arts & Sciences

Nicole is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Chicago Law School. While practicing law, she always enjoyed mentoring law students and young attorneys. She turned this interest into a career - recruiting and training attorneys at a St. Louis law firm. She has advised students at both St. Louis University School of Law and Washington University School of Law and has developed programs that promote diversity in the legal profession.

She loves helping incoming students transition successfully into the Washington University community, especially as director of programs designed to give first-year students an academic jump start before matriculating in the fall, namely the First-Year Summer Academic Program (FSAP) and Summer Start. She also helps students move beyond WashU, serving as a pre-law advisor. She wants students to think big, use their summers to explore potential careers, and take advantage of everything WashU has to offer!

At home, she loves to spend time watching her kids run cross-country and track or play basketball. Her family is very into March Madness and tries to attend a few NCAA Division I Men’s basketball games each year. Her favorite thing to do in St. Louis is watch musicals at the MUNY Theater in Forest Park.
