Iman Poostdoozan

Iman is an assistant dean of advising in the College of Arts & Sciences. He earned a MEd in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis with an emphasis in Higher Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Iman has been in higher education since 2009, working in areas such as student recruitment, international education, and academic advising, with an emphasis on establishing strategic initiatives to enhance student success for first generation and underrepresented minority students. Prior to joining WashU, he served as the MedOpp program manager and chief health professions advisor, overseeing pre-med and pre-dental advising at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Iman is excited to help WashU’s students work toward pursuing their academic and career goals. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with family.
