Charles Freilich is a former deputy national security advisor in Israel and a long-time senior fellow at Harvard University's Belfer Center. He is currently teaching at Columbia University.

This lecture is part of the Crisis & Conflict in Historical Perspective co-curricular initiative, which serves undergraduates considering careers in policy, as well as the greater Washington University and St. Louis communities seeking historically informed discussion about global events.
