Helpful Hints Works Cited Your "Works Cited" page should contain the following information about each source used in your essay: (three examples) 1) source = an article from a journal. Give the author's name, last name first. Note that the title of the article is placed in quotation marks. Underline the journal title (or set it in italics). Give the volume number, the date of publication, and page numbers for the article.
