A Sample Tutorial

This audio clip features selections from a typical tutorial session at The Writing Center. In it, Lisa and Marilyn discuss an essay Marilyn is composing for a Latin American history course; her subject concerns historical approaches to the caudillos of Argentina (please forgive the pronunciation slips). By discussing the title, thesis statement, use of quotations, and overall organization, the two brainstorm and plot out strategies for strengthening Marilyn's work.

The length of the audio clip is about 17 minutes. To play it, you'll need the latest Real Audio plug-in.

Listen to the tutorial.
