The Weidenbaum Center Breakfast Series sponsored a discussion by Mr. Curtis H. Barnette, Chairman Emeritus of Bethlehem Steel Corporation. Mr. Barnette made an economic argument in support of President Bush's recent implementation of tariffs on imports of foreign steel products, and addressed the threat of retaliatory tariffs levied by the European Union. He then responded to questions from the audience.
