Iraq, Lieberman and academic freedom.  In Nov. 2001, Lynn Cheney and Joe Lieberman's group, The American Council of Trustees and Alumni, put out Defending Civilization: How Our Universities Are Failing America and What Can Be Done About It, a grotesque McCarthyite blacklist of "unpatriotic" opinions expressed by academics.
