settled on this place "Davis Fancy" in 1748 and his
home became a neighborhood fort.
Several years ago, Gary Davis of St. Petersbugh FL stopped to photograph the marker that discussed his 5g-grandfather. While he was there he encountered another young man photographing the marker -- Carl Holston, there to photograph the marker that discussed his 7g-grandfather.
