Kurt Taroff

Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow
 
Kurt Taroff is the Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Performing Arts Department at Washington University. He recently completed his dissertation, The Mind’s Stage: Monodrama as Historical Trend and Interpretive Strategy and holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from the City University of New York. He has edited and published in Slavic and East European Performance and has an article upcoming in The Journal of the Pirandello Society of America. He has presented his work at the conferences of the American Society for Theatre Research (ASTR) and the International Federation for Theatre Research (IFTR/FIRT) among others. Kurt did his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan where he received a B.A. in English. He is happy to return to the Midwest.
