students, faculty and staff of Washington University are eligible to receive
funding for study of the Alexander Technique. Review of applications
and administration of the Alexander Scholarship is conducted by a committee
of faculty of the Performing Arts Department. Applicants will be
notified of receipt of application. The tentative date scheduled
for announcement of awards is February 15, 2004.
Please note that grants will only cover tuition for study, not travel, housing or food expenses. Consequently, recipients of funding may need to supplement grant moneys with other resources to fulfill their total expenses. Funding will be paid directly to service provider. To
