Using Technology to Support Your Research
This new 3-hour workshop focuses on how technological tools can help you achieve your research goals more quickly and effectively. This workshop is open to graduate students at all stages of their academic career, whether just beginning graduate school or finishing up your dissertation In special sessions for Humanities/Social Science students and Science students, we will explore:
How technology tools can help you maximize your research time.
Strategies for getting the most out of your research materials.
Specific tools and resources, such as:
Zotero - GIS - LaTeX - Mind Mapping Software - Citation Management - and more!
There is no cost to departments or graduate students, but
enrollment is limited.
Workshops will be held in the Arc
Technology Center, Olin Library Level A
The Graduate School
of Arts & Sciences
offers peer-led technology workshops
to A&S graduate students each year. In this workshop, we will focus on how tools such as the ones mentioned above can support your research goals, whatever they may be. This workshop is open to graduate students in all stages of their academic career. Additional information will be available soon.
