Welcome to my webpages. I am an assistant professor in the department of philosophy at Washington University in St Louis. I did my Ph.D. at Princeton (2004), and once upon a time I was an undergraduate at the University of St Andrews. I have been attempting to infiltrate the Australasian philosophy scene by spending all my (northern) summers as a visiting scholar at Melbourne University, I was Killam Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta in 2005, and a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley in the spring of 09.
Right now (fall 09) I am enjoying being a visiting fellow at Tilburg Center For Logic and Philosophy of Science (TiLPS) in the Netherlands, but I will be back at Wash U to teach Symbolic Logic and Philosophy of Religion in January. I can still be contacted by email at the address below.
