Biographical Information

J. Dillon Brown’s research and teaching interests center on postcolonial literature and theory, with a particular focus on the English-speaking Caribbean. He is currently working on a book that examines the interrelations between postwar West Indian novels and the British modernist tradition. His work can be found in Contemporary Literature, the Journal of West Indian Literature, and edited collections on the Caribbean writers George Lamming and Earl Lovelace.
