Economics 1021 – Prof. Fazzari – Grades
You can find your final course
score and course grade on the Excel spread sheet linked below. The sheet is sorted by your unique course ID
number that you chose on the pretest assignment. If you did not pick an ID on the pretest,
send Prof. Fazzari and e-mail with your choice for an ID number.
The average score on the
final exam was 82.3 / 110 (75%) for the regular part of the exam and 32.6 / 50
for the policy essays. The policy scores may seem a bit low, but I
specifically calibrated the grading system for these essays to generate an
average score of just under 70%, so don't be discouraged by these scores. As indicated on the final exam, the policy
essay scores were determined by adding all “good points” made in your essays
that draw on analysis in the course.
Subtractions were made for statements that reflected economic errors or
were misleading.
Solution notes for the regular part of the exam are linked here: Solution Notes for Exam #3.
