Olin Library: Ginkgo Reading Room Display of original Freedom Suit petitions of Dred and Harriet Scott to the Missouri Circuit Court (1846) Open to Public Registration required The John M. Olin Library is Washington University’s main library facility. The Ginkgo Reading Room is on the main level (Level 1) on the east side of the building. The entrance is off the Grand Staircase Lobby and is immediately opposite the entrance to Special Collections. The Scott petitions will be displayed in the Special Collections Reading Room (no food or drink allowed in this area). The reception will be in the Ginkgo Reading Room. |
