National Endowment for the Humanities

Grants are given to support research and development projects that advance the nation's capacity to preserve and provide access to humanities resources. The endowment particularly encourages applications for projects that would enhance the use of digital technology for broadening access to and ensuring the long-term availability of cultural resources.
