Thomas Oltmanns
Courses Research Interests Professor Oltmanns is interested in the assessment of psychopathology, ranging from personality disorders to obsessive compulsive disorder and symptoms of psychosis (such as delusions). His current work uses peer nomination to explore discrepancies between self-report and informant measures in the assessment of personality disorders. The overall goal is to investigate interpersonal perception for pathological personality traits. On-going projects are concerned with ways in which people see themselves, ways in which they are seen by other people, and their beliefs about what other people think of them.
