This Committee monitors all searches for new full-time tenured and tenure-track appointments. The Dean of Arts & Sciences appoints an Affirmative Action Monitoring Committee in each division: Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.

Curriculum Committee
This Committee reviews undergraduate curriculum of The College of Arts & Sciences, and may recommend to any credit-granting unit of The College the addition, deletion, or modification of courses and academic programs. Proposals for the Committee should be received by the first day of the semester, to ensure they can be included in course listings for the following semester. Review Committee on Faculty Personnel Procedures
A candidate for the award of tenure or promotion within tenured ranks who has been considered and rejected by his or her Department or by the Dean of Arts & Sciences may, within 21 days after receiving written notification of the reasons for such rejection, request the Committee examine whether or not the Department; the Dean; and the Advisory Committee on Tenure, Promotion, and Personnel have followed established University procedures permitting adequate and fair consideration of the case.

This Committee investigates allegations of student academic dishonesty. It is composed of two student members and two faculty members, plus a non-voting chairman. Please contact the chair with any questions.

Washington University Faculty Senate
The Faculty Senate consists of all voting members of the Faculty of all the constituent schools. It expresses itself on matters of major University policy.

Washington University Senate Council
The Senate Council is often viewed as the governing body for the Faculty Senate. It consists of 15 elected faculty members, who assess present University policies relating to matters of University-wide concern and to academic personnel.

Washington University Board of Trustees
The Washington University Board of Trustees consists of approximately 55 men and women who are from the corporate, professional, educational, governmental, and volunteer sectors. It is legally responsible for the institution whose assets it holds in trust, and for which it exercises a policy-making and oversight role.
