Clayton Community Theatre auditions for William Gibson's "The Miracle Worker"

Open auditions for the Clayton Community Theatre production of William Gibson’s The Miracle Worker will be held Sunday, May 18, at 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington University South Campus Theater, 6501 Clayton Road. More than a dozen roles will be cast, with opportunities for men and women in all age ranges as well as juvenile actors. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Auditioners need attend only one of the two open calls.
The Miracle Worker, the second production of CCT’s 2008 season, will be directed by Jim Hurley. Performances will be at the Washington University South Campus Theater July 18-August 3, 2008, with Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday matinee performances. Tech Week will be July 13-17.
Clayton Community Theatre welcomes all interested parties to audition and hopes to present an ethnically-diverse cast. No audition appointment is necessary. All parts will be cast from the open auditions. Inquiries may be sent to director Jim Hurley by e-mail at CCT@PlacesEveryone.org or by phone at 314/721-9228.
