TA Training
Graduate departments and programs are the primary resource for TA training at Washington University. Faculty evaluate and supervise TAs, offering them discipline-specific guidance in their teaching. Most departments offer their own TA orientation and pedagogy courses as well as advanced professional development opportunities for preparing future faculty. Check with the graduate advisor in your department for specifics. Additional interdepartmental resources are provided through the Teaching Center , Graduate School, and the Arts and Sciences Computing Center Teaching Lab.
