The Disability Studies Faculty Group (DSFG) is a group of students
and faculty who are interested in a broad understanding of disability.
DSFG is fundamentally both interdisciplinary and inter-institutional.
Members bring economic, educational, historical, literary, philosophical,
psychological, rehabilitative, and sociological analytic tools to bear
on a wide variety of topics. Along with a core group from Washington University
(including members from Arts & Sciences, Business, Law, Medicine and
Social Work), we hail from Fontbonne, St. Louis University, Southern Illinois
University at Edwardsville, and University of Missouri-St. Louis. Members
have extensive background in public and private non-profit organizations
as well as prominent areas of research and leadership in the field of
disability studies. |
