WELCOME TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

Are you interested in studying child welfare, literacy, psychology, science, technology, or urban policy? Do you have a passion for mathematics, history, art, or the classics? You can pursue these interests in the Department of Education. You will experience the quality factors associated with a world-class research university--top-quality faculty and innovative research opportunities. Additionally, your experience will have the feel of a small liberal arts college combined with the resources of a major research university. Our Department faculty and staff, in conjunction with colleagues across Arts & Sciences, will expose you to many different perspectives on educational practice and theory. We are committed to improving education through both cutting-edge research and hands-on work in educational settings.
