Charles Courtemanche

I recently defended my dissertation in the Washington University in St. Louis Economics Department and was a job market candidate in '07-'08.  I specialize in applied microeconomics and health economics.  My current research focus is on the incentives that cause people to take health risks, and my dissertation is on the economic causes of obesity.  My other research topics include long-term care insurance and Wal-Mart.
